MusokeV Foundation

MusokeV Foundation (MVF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to combating gender-based violence (GBV) in underserved communities. By focusing on community education and raising awareness about GBV, the foundation employs incident reporting strategies through the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) program, working alongside local organizations, community leaders, and schools.

Gender-Based Violence Awareness: GBV Description

Violence against women and girls is one of the world's most common, persistent, and devastating human rights violations, often referred to as gender-based violence. This form of violence can be physical, emotional, or sexual and occurs at all levels of society. Survivors of gender-based violence face psychological, physical, social, and cognitive consequences that can hinder their mental and physical development. Community education initiatives, such as those spearheaded by the MusokeV Foundation, play a crucial role in addressing and preventing this critical issue.

To achieve a society free from Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Uganda's underserved communities, through creative participation of women and girls.

Our Goal

Reduce GBV among girls, and women through increased awareness of GBV and incident reporting strategies using the rape prevention and education (RPE) program in collaboration with local organizations, leaders, churches, and schools.
